Had a great day today! Pre-RD Grand Gathering breakfast at Tony's in MK. We were able to get a picture of the castle from a nearly deserted Main Street. Pretty cool! After breakfast I ran and got FPs for Thunder and then met the group for a ride on Buzz. Scored a decent 500k. Not one of my best, but still ok.
We then hit Space standby, 20 mins iirc. At his point we split up.m my kids love the mountains snd my niece doesnt. Rode splash with a 20 min wait, then used FP for Thunder and it more FP for Thunder. We had enough FP for Thunder that DD6 and I rode it 4 times and still gave away 5 tonight! After Thunder we met back up with the group, hit Bears, had Pecos Bills and thn split up again. Half went to back to BLT to rest while SIL, niece4, DD6 and me stayed in MK. We rode Alladin, we're given FPs for jungle (best boat opporater Ever!) and then we split up. SIL and niece went to Pooh while DD6 and I hit Thunder x 2 again with FPs. Then we did Space with FP and got more FP for Space. Met up with SIL and niece and we hopped to EP
Rode SE at EP and then went to Morocco fir dinner at Merakesh. In case you didn't realize it from my earlier Posts I Love this place! Never eaten there before but it's now a "must do" for us. Food is excellent! Atmosphere is fun and he entertainment... Well, it's a belly dancer - what could be better!? This entire Pavillion is fantastic. I have never had a Pavillion make me want to visit the country it's from. This one did! Can't wait to get my Moroccan Countdown going! Lol.
After dinner we hi-tailed it outta there to beat he post Illuminations crowd. DD6 wanted to go back to MK so I took her while the rest of my party headed back to BLT. We rode Space with FP, gave away our remaining 5 Thunder FPs and rode Peoplemover before heading out ourselves at about 10pm. She fell asleep during the stroller walk back to BLT.
